Based on the novel by New York Times Bestselling author Katherine Center. After the sudden death of her husband, Libby (Leslie Bibb) moves in with her hypercritical mother. Out of the blue, her estranged Aunt Jean offers Libby an escape: a job and a place to live on her farm in the Texas Hill Country. Before she can talk herself out of it, Libby is packing the minivan, grabbing the kids, and hitting the road. Life on Aunt Jean's goat farm turns out to be more exciting and mysterious than expected, especially after meeting gruff farm manager James (Josh Duhamel). Libby realises she hasn't traded one kind of crazy for another: she may actually have found the place to bring her little family--and herself--back to life.

Ratings and reviews

It was okay, corny and cheesy but worth a one time watch. Just not that great and not worth a second watch.

The end felt a bit rushed, but it was an easy watch and I am a sucker for the cheese.

Great film. Bib and Duhamel absolutely nail their performances as two good people hurt by the selfish people around them. Will they find peace with one another? A unique and beautiful film with a stunning soundtrack.
