Elaine, a beautiful young witch, is determined to find a man to love her. In her gothic Victorian apartment she makes spells and potions, and then picks up men and seduces them. However, her spells work too well, leaving her with a string of hapless victims. When she finally meets the man of her dreams, her desperation to be loved will drive her to the brink of insanity and murder.

The story wasn't exactly enthralling and there were some dull moments. However the way this movie is filmed is beautiful and worth watching! Excellent throwback to late 70's B Movies.

This movie will be a love it or hate it. If you like the 70's exploitation films you will love this, its almost like a dream like experience. Now that Wicca is actually a religion, some may get offended by its depiction, but if you take a close look, you will realize the movie is really about a serial killer. Anyway, is a 70's movie, is really an exaggeration, specially the acting. The main actress is gorgeous and hypnotizing. I've watched this movie over and over again, highly recommended if you are into this kind of stuff. ^_^

Art and cinematography excellent--acting and direction not so much. Good hommage to 60s in style and plot. Loads of symbolism.
