This is one of those movies that makes you really care about the characters. I cried a LOT during it, and I like movies that make me cry, as long as it ends well. The ending was just terrible! Susie cared more about kissing a boy than getting justice! When she was talking the boy at the end she could have told him about how her murderer was about tho roll her body into the sinkhole. I just really hate that Mr. Harvey didn't get killed or arrested for what he had done to all those girls.

The Lovely Bones Has To be one of the worst films I've ever seen. There was absolutely no resolution what-so ever! The characters made poor decisions for rather important things in the movie. SPOILER: Suzie Never got revenge on her killer, what a dumb way for him to die. Getting hit by and icicle and falling off a cliff? I would've much rather seen him go to jail for his crimes of killing all of those girls Why didn't she let anybody know that her killer was dumping her body in a sink hole never to be seen again? Wouldn't her family want her body back for I don't know closure? She could actually be buried and not have an empty coffin. I mean she was visably talking to the boy, in her friends body so why didn't she say something? He would have had plenty of time to yell out the window for them to stop right? When her sister found the book, why did she sit on the floor reading it when she knew the man was in the house? She could've just taken the book and ran. And when she jumped out the window... There is absolutely no way she didn't break an arm, or even a leg for that matter. Sorry Peter Jackson, but this is the worst movie I've ever seen :|

i watched this because it was compared to another movie, reviewer saying this one was like 100 times better. also Saoirse Ronan - ill watch anything with her in it. she was good. but the movie was not good. it just swirled around, seeming like it would go down some interesting plot lines, but nope. the thriller aspect of this movie just got annoying after awhile.
