In the 1920s a young French girl meets an important Chinese diplomat on the boat down the Mekong river.He is immediately attracted to her and she in turn does not hesitate long before offering the seducer her innocence. She tells him she wants nothing of his money and finally persuades him. But upon her return to France she realizes that in truth she was voluntarily caught.

The story is about a young french girl who lives with her mother and too younger brothers. She meets a young wealthy Chinese man , he's falling in love with her.

The most sensual/poetic movie I've ever seen. And Jane March was the best choice for this film and sexy as hell!

Sensual, Erotic, Epic....best film that ever came out in the 90's.
