I saw the original TV series on a rerun in the 1980's, I loved it back then and I like this modern take on that show from director Guy Ritchie who made "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch" I like KGB character played by Armie Hammer who I think is the better actor! Also I do like Henry Cavill, just not as good the KGB guy! Overall good story, fun action set pieces, not as slow placed as some people say! Perhaps it could edited a bit but it's not long at 1hr56mins! Good cameo from Hugh Grant :-) Check it out!

I grew up on the Man from UNCLE, as a kid I loved it. The movie, well, I wasn't disappointed at all. Both Characters were played realistically and authentically (in my opinion) by Superman and The Loan Ranger. Plot is often predictable, but full of old school humour and great chemistry among the three leading actors. I was very disappointed however (Like I was for The Golden Compass) that we never got the follow-up movies.

I watched this film with the idea that it would be fairly rubbish as modern updates of classic TV programmes are rarely up to scratch with the original material. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The Man From U.N.CL.E was funny and stylish and, so long as you never take it too seriously, thoroughly enjoyable. A sequel would't go amiss.
