For a movie that's spent 27 years in development hell as of 2019, every frame proves to be worth the wait. It's a darkly comic odyssey in the vein of Brazil, from which Gilliam even recycles his main star, Jonathan Pryce to great effect. But this movie truly shines as a dark sequel to "Baron Munchausen." Here, Quixote comes off more deranged, and while "Munchausen" is about an escape into imagination, "Quixote" is about a descent into madness. A magical experience & TG's crowning masterpiece

A wonderful Terry Gilliam experience. If you are a fan of Terry's work, I wholeheartedly endorse this movie.
