The trailer looked great, a quirky story, lots of action and the dude who played the narrator in the big Lebowski. Sadly it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. A sedated sloth moves quicker than this movie's story line. It aint the Cohen brothers and certianly not Wes Anderson. I had great hopes for this movie but they were painfully and slowly dashed. Look elsewhere.

Normally I don't write reviews but I note this movie managed to drop to two stars in Google reviews which I think is very unfair. This is a highly unusual movie that is quirky and bittersweet. It does move slowly. Yet it also a clever and imaginative movie that examines one man's personal journey and flaws against the backdrop of assassinating Hitler and Bigfoot. So yeah, weird. Also funny. But not always. Don't watch this expecting Evil Dead 2 or 3, or Bubba Ho-Tep, or Cabin in the Woods, or even the Big Lebowski. It isn't really Comedy action-horror. It's more like a slow Western movie crossed with weird humour. So don't watch for action or continuous comedy. Watch this if you are in a contemplative mood, like slower Westerns, and also like odd stuff with bursts of fun silliness and a little action.

Probably one of the strangest precepts for a film I have ever watched, the killing of those two larger than life entities. It reminded me of the sometime clunky aspects of M Night Shamalans films which are so out of left field that it takes a fair bit of getting used to to understand the purpose or point of the message. I am certain that there are lines to be drawn between the parts of this film, the two assignments parts that we are privy to, but it will take a fair bit of analysis to get a clear idea of what was meant to be taken away from it. Apart from the quirkiness of the plot, the film was beautiful in many respects and anyone hoping for a thriller then some horror will be sadly disappointed as the movie really only deals with concepts of duty, loneliness and issues of dwelling on poor historical decisions and what could have been that never was. I liked it for that.
