At its core, The Man With The Golden Gun is a very good film with a very intriguing plot, introducing a villian that overshadows 007, Francisco Scaramanga. However, The Man With The Golden Gun fails to capture the thrills of the pre title sequence until the ending "mano a mano" showdown between the two, opting instead to focus on a mixture between serious and comedic in between, a staple of the Roger Moore era. Still, it is one of my favorites from his era.

Watched this in my childhood during the holidays. I've been to James Bond Island in Thailand where they filmed it, if you're visiting Phuket go and get the James Bond tour, that was about 13 years ago I went there. Anyhow, classic movie!
