My favorite movie as a child and it brought back fond memories watching it with my son for the first time. It's really the only Winnie the Pooh I can stand to watch. Simple, heartwarming, old-timey cuteness! A refreshing break from these crazy cartoons they're concocting nowadays.

They just don't make movies like this any more, my daughters and I, and now my one year old granddaughter all love Winnie the Pooh and this classic takes us back to a less stressful, hectic life! Love it!

This was Disney's original interpretation of Pooh, from the Ernest Shepherd drawings in Milne's books, and it is vastly superior to any form of Pooh that has been put forth since (although their latest entry simply titled "Winnie the Pooh" was a nice modern homage). The original feature is funny, toe-tapping, heart warming, and beautifully animated. The old DVD version did contain the Day for Eeyore short that was the only commissioned "sequel" to the Many Adventures that were released theatrically. For the most part it's junk, due chiefly to some of the horrid voice actor replacements, so it's probably best it is not included here. Still, that leaves us with: Disney, y u want so much coin for your content??
