Jim Hanson's (Liam Neeson) quiet life is suddenly disturbed by two people crossing the US/Mexico border - a woman and her young son - desperate to flee a Mexican cartel. After a shootout leaves the mother dead, Jim is forced to become the boy's defender. He embraces his role as Miguel's protector and will stop at nothing to get him to safety, as they go on the run from the relentless assassins.

Thank goodness for fast forwarding as I really needed it for this movie. Unbelievable in so many parts and so boring, what a shame as I like him as an actor. At least I did not spend money and go the movies to watch it.

Slow, dull and predictable. I'm a big fan of Neeson but this is a popcorn movie at best.
