Original Matrix was an absolute masterpiece. I've lost count of the amount of times I've watched it, first at the cinema, then on DVD multiple times, then Blueray boxsets and even streaming platforms. I've watched all previous versions multiple times, then this one was announced. Excited I went to see it, and no word of a lie the movie is absolute garbage. I saw another reviewer state it's 'WOKE', well I can confirm that's an understatement of the year, it's next level WOKE! Disappointing.

I'm a big fan of the original trilogy and dismissed the negative reviews for this latest "reboot" thinking those people can't possibly be right. How wrong I was, those reviewers were right! I had high hopes for this movie, but I feel so let down having watched it. Please don't waste your money, wait for it to be released for free on streaming channels, or terrestrial TV.

Utter rubbish. Excessively 'woke' even down to re-record rage against the machine oh dear the irony. Just rubbish. Poorly directed badly acted except for Keanu. Poor script. Nothing to get remotely into. If I had been at the cinema I would have left. I know to avoid Lana's films from now on. If you have ever watch any of the original films do NOT watch this it will put you off watching the others again. Many don't like 2 and 3 but at least you can tolerate.
