About this movie

In this explosive final chapter of the Matrix trilogy, Neo, Morpheus and Trinity battle to defend Zion, the last real-world city, against the onslaught of the machines that have enslaved the human race. And, now as Neo learns more about his heroic powers--including the ability to see the codes of things and the people, he faces the consequences of the choice made in The Matrix Reloaded.

Third installment turns Neo into Jesus. Not that I care about the whole religious points added into this trillogy. I gave it two stars because the movie is pretty drawn out and terribly executed. The books were much better. Wish they could have taken more from the sources with less infulence from producers. The whole using humans as batteries bit was so stupid, another part not in the books.

I got this movie because I forgot what it was like when I saw it. Now I remember why I didn't remember it, it sucks. Matrix Revolutions is pretty bad in plot, overblown effects, and some tired acting. Even as a sci-fi fan I found myself groaning and remembering how bad this movie is and regretted seeing it. Purchase it only to soil your memory of the matrix and realize why you don't remember this.

Some of the concepts in reloaded and revolutions are easily missed. I chalk that up to imprecise story telling. The first film was rife with wonder and possibility. This film finalizes the trilogy. When I talk to people about these films there are aspects of the oracle and architect that confuse them... They don't fully get why Zion has been destroyed many times already and what the point of the "one" truly is. The fact that Neo found a way to break the cycle is the real victory. The rest is byproduct.
