I was truly looking forward to this moving. The trailer looked good. The lord of the flies overtone was ever-present, which just seemed annoying if anything. They could have done so much more with the maze, but instead focused on the underlying premise of the movie. After the movie finished I was left with that "what.. the heck" feeling I get when I watch something that just doesn't deliver. Wasn't completely hopeless, but it wasn't great.

Don't know why people say that they couldn't understand/follow the story line. May have been a bit mysterious almost confusing at first but everything is explained fine. I think some of those reviewers might not have enough brain cells. Very good acting from the majoritly young cast particularly the characters Chuck and Thomas. And although the main antagonist Gally wasn't the best, you can actually see his reactions are realistic which I like. Looking forward to seeing the sequel.

Hard to follow story. With no end at all. Th whole thing made no sense at all. I'm sorry I wasted my time watching it. I was hopeful that it would end with some explanation of the rest of the garbage. BUT NO.
