Based on the best selling novel, The Meanest Man In Texas tells the incredible story of Clyde Thompson, accused of multiple murder and sentenced to death in a Texas prison. After his conviction in 1928, Thompson is incarcerated in a high security prison but while waiting for an appeal hearing, he gets involved in an escape plan and more murders, leading to another death sentence. Not a horror! Have no idea why it's 18 rated either. Starts off ok but becomes a bit of a drag, basically the story of a cocky prisoner who finds god and becomes friends with the prison governor with the end being no surprise.
