국제적인 해양 연구를 위한 해저 탐험대가 탑승 중이던 심해 잠수정이 멸종한 줄 알았던 거대 상어의 공격을 받아 태평양 깊은 바닥에서 움직일 수 없게 된다. 시간이 절대적으로 부족한 상황에서 심해 구조 전문 다이버인 조나스 테일러(제이슨 스테이섬)가 뛰어난 중국인 해양학자(윈스턴 차오)에게 고용 된다. 테일러가 할 일은 ‘메가로돈’이라는 몸길이 23미터짜리 고대 상어로 부터 연구원과 태평양을 구하는 것이다. 누구도 상상할 수 없었던 일이지만, 사실 테일러는 이 무시무시한 생물을 수년 전에 만난 적이 있었다. 이제 그 는 사상 최대로 위험하고 거대한 포식자를 상대해서, 목숨을 걸고 저 밑에 갇 힌 탐험대를 구해야 한다!

평가 및 리뷰

The sound quality was good, the acting was good and i love the fact that the story is based on an ancient ocean creature. Bit sad tho that's it's a little inaccurate as the Meg has 7 gills in this but yet the modern day great white which is an absentee only has 5 gills. Could have made it a bit more realistic with that.

If I were to rate this movie as the worst I've ever seen, that would be high praise indeed.
