This 2012 film is the definitive animated adaptation of the Chinese classic "Journey to the West" - in which Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, rebels against the Jade Emperor. Legends has it that after a dispute over a legendary weapson, the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea petitions the Jade Emperor to punish the brash Monkey King. Havoc in Heaven is the exemplary accomplishment in Chinese animation, featuring an epic score and a voice cast of several acclaimed Chinese directors (Chen Kaige, Feng Xiaogang)
