Sobre este filme

Eastwood stars as Earl Stone, a man in his 80s who is broke, alone, and facing foreclosure of his business when he is offered a job that simply requires him to drive. Easy enough, but, unbeknownst to Earl, he’s just signed on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. He does well—so well, in fact, that his cargo increases exponentially, and Earl is assigned a handler. But he isn’t the only one keeping tabs on Earl; the mysterious new drug mule has also hit the radar of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates. And even as his money problems become a thing of the past, Earl’s past mistakes start to weigh heavily on him, and it’s uncertain if he’ll have time to right those wrongs before law enforcement, or the cartel’s enforcers, catch up to him.

I was looking forward to seeing this film, but I wish that I hadn't. The story was okay, albeit rather short and dragged out, and the acting was good, but it wasn't really up to a Clint Eastwood film, especially as his farewell to acting (again). I wish that Clint's last film had been something akin to Gran Torino, Million-dolar Baby or Unforgiven. I won't be watching this film again as it had nothing that stood-out enough to make it a good film.

Watching this movie is like exposing yourself to mainstream media, politics and the world according to social media............to steal a line from another reviewer "The world's going to hell in a handcart." is so very well reflected in this movie. Its a brilliant flick, but I'm left feeling pretty awful as the film is truer to reality than most want to admit.

I really liked this Movie with Clint Eastwood. It really is an eye opener to how vulnerable the elderly really are. They get sucked into something that's difficult to walk away from when they realise their life is at risk.
