Only for Tom Cruise fans. Would love to know how many giving 4star reviews were paid to do so. Movie tries to be many different things and does none of them well. Script and plot were terrible. Rips off an American Werewolf in London, and spends too much time setting up Dark Universe. Universal failed with this one. Buy at your own risk.

I was dead from boredom watching this trash. Acting I found mediocre, cast was meh, everything else was awful. There was absolutely no effort with plot, acting, nothing. There was barely action at all like the other Mummy movies. Tom Cruise might as well given up with this one. I was in a flight towards Mexico when I watched this and honestly, I found the kid one seat in front playing games on his iPad more entertaining. I was very disappointed with this!😞

Just .... awful. The movie is never intended to be compared to the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies, thank goodness. I'm not sure who had the idea of this particular storyline, but they missed the mark by a long shot. It's boring. Bad acting. Bad casting. Everything is bad. I rented it and thought it would be worth a look. It isn't. I couldn't even watch the entire movie. I stopped it about halfway thru and let my rental run out, it was that bad. I love movies! I have eclectic tastes and I will usually find some redeeming qualities in a movie that the critics bash. Not this one! Please, don't give this movie another thought. Just walk away from pushing the rental/purchase button.
