I meant to watch this around Christmas time, but I didn't have any opportunities. Since it was a snowy day at the time, I will say that this is a must-watch holiday movie, and possibly the best adaptation of Dickens' book. It has the humor and warmth that you can expect in a Muppet movie, while knowing how to make a sad moment hit its mark (spoilers: Gonzo and Rizzo briefly leave during the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come scene). It's worth at least 4 out of 5 stars.

A wonderful movie full of great acting, great medleys, humor and real heart. Michael Caine is one of my favorite Scrooges from the many adaptions of this story. I saw this at the theater quite a few times when it came out. In the synopsis it says 4K is available, but it certainly wasn't here (a poor mans 4K). I'd love to see a 4K remastering; it deserves it.

Horrible. I fell asleep half way through the movie. A waste of time.
