About this movie

Those screw-loose Airplane! creators have done it again! Leslie Nielsen stars as Police Squad's own granite-jawed, rock-brained cop Frank Drebin, who bumbles across a mind-control scheme to assassinate Queen Elizabeth. Priscilla Presley, O.J. Simpson, a stuffed beaver, two baseball teams and an odd assortment of others join the wacko goings-on and blow the laugh-o-meter to smithereens.

It says eligible for family sharing, I bought it with £9.99, not rent it and it shows me that is not eligible for family sharing. If I go back to shop page shows that it is eligible. I am upset because for family I needed.

Very funny. I thought it was suitable for family viewing. James Bond is as well and that has more sexual references and a lot more menace and violence. It was very witty as well as funny and you can see why there are two sequels and the Airplane series. I know she made a living out of impersonating the Queen but I did not think Jeannette Channing or whoever resembled her much, in the acting more than physical looks which was not too bad. Shame O J Simpson came to a bad end. I think he is out now but he must be getting on a bit.

While not as good as Airplane!, The Naked Gun is a hilarious spoof of cop films with Leslie Nielsen at his best. Seriously though, Nielsen's deadpan delivery is comedy gold!
