While hiding from bullies in his school's attic, a young boy discovers the extraordinary land of Fantasia, through a magical book called The Neverending Story. such a classic, the practical effects hold up even though they're pretty dated now from the 80's. I still get choked up watching the swamp scene or rock eater at the end with his empty hands. beautiful story for the ages.
