Set in 1825, Clare, a young Irish convict woman, chases a British officer through the rugged Tasmanian wilderness, bent on revenge for a terrible act of violence he committed against her family. On the way she enlists the services of an Aboriginal tracker named Billy, who is also marked by trauma from his own violence filled past.

I loved it and was on the edge of my seat the whole movie but really difficult to watch being a mother I felt everything she felt! And the horrible treatment of the Australian indigenous people.

Very powerful movie, highly recommended. Absolutely riveting, touching on so many sensitive subjects relevant for today and leaving a call for justice echoing in my heart.

I can not believe the remarks that the Aboriginal peoples had it so badly watching this account of what it took to make us all Australian. The Aborigines the convicts both men and WOMEN, children the unbelievable hardships to us all. What an amazing film Thank you for making this for us all to learn how we have all become Australian.
