I loved the movie but it was too gay. As a gay man myself I honestly hate seeing this. People who do not understand my kind see this and judge. Yes it's accurate and that's how most men were and still are. Tone it down though. Ryan Murphy did beautiful work though.

I agree that the AIDS story needed to be told but this movie sucked (no pun intended). Jim Parsons and Mark Ruffalo were good but the other actors must of just been hired off the street. I can't unsee Mark Ruffalo in bed with Matt Bomer, how I wish I could.

When facing an a dark corner this movie shows how much of our own lack of support to others when faced a possibility of our own mortality. It just goes to show how ignorance and failure to accept situations can bring the worst of humanity.
