When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest (Demian Bichir) with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows (Taissa Farmiga) are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

I love the conjuring films, and Valak especially is my favourite character int he franchise, so to just try and use only jump scares and not really go into depth with the character really bugged me. And also to use Taissa and not do a connection to Vera - waste of character development?

The movie didn't really make sense. While the nun itself is a bit creepy, i didn't really get scared like i did in The Conjuring. It could have been done so much better.

I quite liked this movie it was a good mix of jumps and suspense and its a horror movie a lot of people who are critically judging the quality and so called lack of plot are much too anal and shouldn't take it so seriously its a movie just watch it and enjoy it its meant to be a fun past time
