When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest (Demian Bichir) with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows (Taissa Farmiga) are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

Wow I cant believe James Wan signed off on this. A lot of the scary scenes would have been perfect if there was a more strongly developed story. The dialogues are cheap, the poor research behind Church elements is laughable, and the jump scares are so many they cease to be scary. And what the hell is up with all the red lights shining through windows. Rotten Tomatoes ranked Conjuring 86 and gave this a 25. Hard to disagree.

thats not about the film . the film is great. this comment is about the devs of play moovies. ppl just pay netflix like 11 euros for a month and u can watch almost like anything...( others just download the movie from unofficial sources ) ppl can also rent a movie for 2 euros. why would they pay 12 euro or 18euro or 10 euro to buy just ONE movie here? wide awake my friends... just wake up. this is not the way to make money or fame. its almost 2020 wake up.

The movie wasn't bad at all, everything worked togheter, all the scenes matched but.. what was the point? I know the origin of Valak and everything but, i think we already knew what was going on..? Some scenes were really cheap but some of them, they were so goood, sadly the movie is based on jumpscares but there are of course some scares in the background not everyone could see, I wish it having less of these cheap scenes and jumpscares but overall, the movie was good in my opinion.
