The Omega Man adapts Richard Matheson's novel I Am Legend into a high-impact, high-tension saga of a fate not far removed from reality. Charlton Heston is Neville, fending off attacks by The Family, sinister neopeople spawned by the plague. He also becomes a man with a mission after meeting Lisa (Rosalind Cash), another unifected survivor - and guardian of some healthy children representing our species' hope. The original last Man on earth I don't know why people say like the book by........ No it's nothing like any book it's something that you will never forget, if you were around when this film first came out and seen it in the only option,,,,, the cinema.. people now have too much choice and don't know the value of great films...they don't make them like they used to....

70s version of Matheson's I am legend. Highly enjoyable take on a classic book. Never get bored of this gem.
