This is the 2nd film to be adapted from the book. The first being, Last Man On Earth, starring Vincent Price. Both were seriously creepy in their own way. And both far surpass Wil Smiths effort. Which sadly, like so many of the remakes Hollywood is kicking out, just didn't have the more "personal touch" that films without CGI have. And with Heston in the film. How could anything possibly go wrong?

This is the original film that was based on the book I am legend. This is a far better movie than the modern take on the book "I am legend" staring will smith. It really is worth watching if you like post apocalyptic films, just be warned it is old.
