I loved the first half of the movie, it is well acted and put together. And while the twist at the end was shocking (which is good) it implied a hopelessness and ultimate uselessness of the entire plot. You care about these people the entire movie, get invested in their struggle and the director then just slaps you in the face and says "tough, they're jerks, they deserve this". I feel manipulated.

Worth seeing if you're into slightly demure, banter-driven humor (even though this is more of a quasi-mystery/romance movie. But also refreshing to see Mark Duplass and Elizabeth Moss in a different light -- they really work well together!

You won't be disappointed. We were hooked by the trailer, but the movie far exceeded our expectations. Well cast, nicely performed, and wonderfully twisted!
