The film plays out over three memory cards found in a sun-drenched section of the Mojave Desert. The footage within is that of a foursome, who set out to make a music video while camping, led by a charismatic LA filmmaker. Their trip starts out uneventful, though their peace is occasionally disrupted by unexplained sounds, vibrations, and unnatural animal behavior. Then one night everything changes, sending the foursome on a mind-bending trip through terror.

Total garbage. Do yourself a favor and roll around in a bathtub full of broken glass. It will be more entertaining than this. The story sucks, the gore sucks, the movie sucks! I want 2 hours of my life back.

If you love the horror genre then you WILL love this. Whats there not to like about The Outwaters? To me it has the Blair Witch vibe which was fun to watch. Good storyline with strong characters too. Quit complaining and rent it. Well done to Robbie Banfitch. Support this film

Viscerally creepy, it leaves an anxious burn even after watching. I thought it was very disturbing and scary and it etched itself really DEEP into my psyche . Will anxiously be waiting for the directors next release. Make it happen please
