О овом филму
The Pagan Queen is a historic drama with fantasy elements based on the folklore eternalized in the story of 'The Crown of Vysehrad'. It is a love story between Libuse, the Slavic mythological heroine of 8th century Bohemia, and queen of the Slavic tribes, and Premysl, a simple farmer. The film recreates the pagan, pre-Christian time period of the so-called Dark Ages, and shows that this magical epoch in history was in fact a time of ancient wisdom, personal freedom, closeness to nature and open sensuality.
