Having read the novel many times, i found the movie completely accessible, and i loved it. It could have been twice as long. It was beautifully done. Read the novel, see the movie again.

Horrifying, unsettling, and brutal - I'm dramatised from the beautiful savagery of this masterpiece.

Very little substance, a lot of sensationalism. Some of the scenes are entertaining at least.
