Hayley Mills lights up the screen in Disney's fondly remembered release of THE PARENT TRAP. Mills stars as Susan and Sharon, identical twins separated at birth. Neither twin knows the other exists until a simple twist of fate finds them at the same summer camp. Then, realizing who they are, they plan a little twist of their own. Can we all agree that the parent's 2nd marriage is a bad idea? I give them 6 months before the police are called to their place. Anyhow, while this film is fun to watch, has a catchy song in the middle, and Hayley Mills is the most charming American girl with a glaring British accent; it's got some problems. For instance, pranking used as (somewhat deserved) bullying and what happened that caused a couple to take a twin each and never tell them about their sibling for 14 years. Yikes! 😬

I like this movie! I like the 1998 one too, but this one is my favorite. I just wish that they didn't put the psychic thing in there.
