Hallie Parker, a hip Californian, and Annie James, a proper London miss (both played by Lindsay Lohan) are identical twins who don't even know each other exist -- until they accidentally meet at summer camp. Now they're up to their freckles in schemes and dreams to switch places, get their parents (Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson) back together, and have the family they've always wished for!

Ratings and reviews

Remakes don't always do it for me, they're usually lacking something from the original. A remake of the 1960 version of the same name, is quite good. Story is updated, well written and strong cast, Lindsay Lohan before the alcohol, drugs and bad plastic surgery treatments. She plays both roles and does a good job of it. This is very good, I always watch it when it's on TV. I really like this one.

At the time I didn't realise that the twins were played by one actor. Anyway, entertaining, good premise etc.

My granddaughters (aged 7 and 9) say , "It was awesome". One of them is now Hallie, the other Annie.
