About this movie

The Peanut Butter Falcon is a modern Mark Twain-esque adventure starring Shia LeBeouf (American Honey, Fury) as a small time outlaw turned unlikely coach who joins forces with Zak, a young man with Down Syndrome on the run from the nursing home with the dream of becoming a professional wrestler. Dakota Johnson (Susperia, Fifty Shades of Grey) is Zak's loving, but stubborn, carer. From writer/director duo Tyler Nilson and Michael Shwartz the film also stars Jon Bernthal (Baby Driver, Fury), Thomas Hayden Church (Sideways), Bruce Dern (Nebraksa), John Hawkes (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) and introducing Zack Gottsagen as Zack.

One of those movies that you keep putting off until later. But honestly, this is one of the best movies of the century so far. (in my opinion) it provides a convincing story, so that you know it's possible to exist in the real world, and doesn't become totally unrealistic; unlike Swiss Army Man. Yet, it somehow becomes a genuinely nice movie that you would enjoy a second time and shows a journey that you would love to take one day.

Agreed with everyone. Great film and acting. More impressed with this than joker. Wrong crew got the Oscars. Do yourself a favour and watch this movie.
