À propos de ce film

THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON follows Zak (Zack Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome who runs away from a residential nursing home to fulfill his dream of attending the pro wrestling school of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck (Thomas Haden Church). On the road, Zak meets Tyler (Shia LaBeouf), a small-time outlaw who becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally. Together, they set out on a wild, life-changing journey and try to convince Eleanor (Dakota Johnson), a kind nursing-home employee charged with bringing Zak back, to join them.

Really just a great movie, acting, camera work, story, and scenery come together to tell a wonderful story that shows we can all be heroes despite our own challenges or mistakes. The characters are all believable and the way they interact shows how we can connect to others if we resist putting our preconceptions in the way of just letting someone into our hearts. If you are just looking for a feel good love story or an action adventure - give it a try, and if you are looking for a heartwarming movie that will make you laugh and maybe shed a tear - give it a try.

God's given love shines through :) A very funny and simply good story, with a Down Syndrome fun loving guy and a wayward troubled guy that befriends and helps the other, and a woman that loves the beauty in all three eventually. Minus the couple bad language spots it's reality and definitely worth the watch. Again, God's given love shines through :)

A feel good Movie (well up to the last 2 minutes) There's a reason this movie has so many 5 star reviews it's because it's a 5 star movie. The one bad review I see is a 14 y/o over privileged brat I'm guessing. If you like O' Brother Where Ar't Tho or Big Fish (classics) you'll love this. And yeah the "throw" may have seemed far fetched but you have to understand the writer and directors angle. It was to put us in awe before the duality of man had its moment. Shia is back & better than Leo
