Martin Parish and his daughter Natalie have been close since his wife died when Natalie was a toddler. One terrible night, Martin is called to pick up Natalie from a party only to find that she's confused and very sick. When her father overreacts, Natalie becomes increasingly distant. The more he tries to protect Natalie, the more she slips away. Martin struggles to hold on to the one thing that matters to him the most - the love of his daughter.
