After a painful breakup, successful lobbyist Leah Vaughn (Sanaa Lathan) jumps into a passionate relationship with a charming stranger (Michael Ealy). When her ex-boyfriend (Morris Chestnut) resurfaces in her life she has to figure out who she should trust and who she should fear.

Story not original at all. Seemed rushed as if they were just trying to get to the suspense part of the movie. Brushed over the characters and their relationships. Could have been better. If you're with your girl and she refuses to go for avengers/sicario/interstellar then turn it on let it run a few minutes then make your move before falling asleep.

I love the climaxes but I think the plot of the movie is too fast. I think Micheal Easley played the hell out of the part. I wish they gave my girl more lines. She always put on a good performance and I really think they could of slowed the story down. Too much was going on at once instead of flowing together. But I wanted to watch it. It is a great movie. The plot just needs to be a little more hesitate.

Ms. Lathan owned the role here. Needless to say, between a rock and a hard place. Felt disappointed that from her achievement, how is it she did not learn any kind of self defense? Just because Scoundrels. Hmph. Is it stemmed from a genetic condition perhaps? Hmph. Ladies should learn reformation is not your cursed task. Immediately, excuse yourself from trying to move any such mountain. Hmph if you're meek enough for domestic violence, you're weaker keeping a mustard seed of faith in such circumstances. Nevertheless, flexibility purpose of kickboxing, krav maga, black belt etc are amicable skills for any adorable daughter (~_~<) or would any prefer their baby girls be the nail instead of the hammer. Are you keeping up with modern days? I wonder if plenty of people look down the road at old age. They would be compelled to keep the important conversations going. I wonder if they would look over their shoulders and say, I could have invested more in conducive goodness. It just costed $0.00 back when. Then again, who do the blind lead? Hmph
