Andrian Brody did a amazing job in this movie, he literally showed his true acting skills in this master piece. Every time i watch this movie he gives me chills of how he portrayed the character so well. This movie over the years has become one of my top 5 movies on a rainy day,something i find myself watching at least three times a month.

Polanski, the director of the film is brilliantly showing the silhouette of the great Polish pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman of Jewish origin. Also this is the only film so far showing the true genocide and the massacre of Polish civilians by the Nazi occupants, especially the habitants of the Capital of Poland - Warsaw

Inspiring story of world class pianist's strugle to survive in nazi Germany's take over. It has some very sad and violent parts so be prepared for horrible depictions of German actions, but it is a great new angle on the war that show quite a lot.
