Based on a true story, The Pianist tells the story of brilliant Polish pianist, Wladyslaw Szpilman (ACADEMY AWARD WINNER, Adrien Brody), a Jew, who escapes deportation. Don't listen to people who say one or two stars because they don't have anything to back it up. This is an amazing film and I recommend you to watch😊

A film depicting the horrors of the Nazi occupation of Poland and Jewish suppression as seen through the eye of a concert pianist. All aspects of the production and especially the cinematography are superb in creating 1940s Warsaw. The menacing and terrifying NAZI brutality along with the accompanying inhumanity leaves you with a deep historical imprint on the soul.

Very good film, have watched this one several times. Very realistic at times, and a showing of the hard period that the Jews were put through!
