The trademark of The Phantom, a reknowned jewel thief, is a glove left at the scene of the crime. Inspector Clouseau, an expert on The Phantom's exploits, feels sure that he knows where The Phantom will strike next and leaves Paris for Switzerland, where the famous Lugashi jewel 'The Pink Panther' is going to be. However, he does not know who The Phantom really is, or for that matter who anyone else really is...

It all starts here in the wonderful Pink Panther franchise. The plot flows at a nice pace and the cast are wonderful and have great chemistry. Peter Sellers begins getting the comedic beats for his infamous character. David Niven is also smashing in this as Sir Charles Little. Claudia Cardinale is absolutely stunning and so is Capucine. Man, if I was born back I would date them both. Worth checking out asap.
