Inspired by the actual files of Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican (Academy Award®-winner Russell Crowe; 2000, Best Actor, Gladiator), The Pope's Exorcist follows Amorth as he investigates a young boy's terrifying possession and ends up uncovering a centuries-old conspiracy the Vatican has desperately tried to keep hidden.

They left the door open for a series with this one. Good vs Evil is the main feature while not emphasizing the gore/blood side of the horror scene.

This was, unfortunately, so, very, bad. Not even the lead actor, with his years of experience, could save this drivel of a script.

The story development was kind of rushed, but over all its one of the better Bible based movies.
