Michael King (Shane Johnson of TV’s CRIMINAL MINDS) doesn’t believe in God or the devil. Following the sudden death of his wife, the atheist documentary filmmaker decides his next film will disprove the existence of the supernatural. Michael allows demonologists to perform their darkest rituals on him knowing that when they fail, he’ll have on-camera proof that religion and the paranormal are nothing more than myth. But something does happen. And Michael is progressively consumed by an evil force that will not let go. This breakout possession thriller costars Dale Dickey (TV’s TRUE BLOOD) and Julie McNiven (TV’s NCIS).

I have a thing with possession based movies and I don't mean that in a good way. It is entirely too involved for me to explain here...but let's just say that THIS movie may just be my last. It totally creeped me out. I agree with the user that said "if you are innocently looking for a scare, DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE." I have every light in my house on and both dogs in bed with me now! This movie by far is the scariest I've seen since the Exorcist. If you are into the possession thing this 1's for you!!!

omg this by far is a hair raiser one movie that u don't really want to b interrupted while watching....it sent chills down my whole body....but I don't know if i could or would ever want to watch it again....i know if i did i would have to have more than ten ways or more to get out of that house thats for sure ..... CHILLING CREERY AND BEYOND TERRIFYING TO ME ...IN THE HOLY NAME OF THE LORD AMEN

I love a good scare especially when it comes with a plausible story that supports the motivation of the characters. This movie tells a story from a very clear point of view without the predictability experienced in other movies. What adds to its horrific drama is the feeling that something like this could really happen. Grief and the need for answers push the main character to dabble in some very dark places proving that just because you don't believe in God and the devil, doesn't mean they don't exist.
