Kevin Costner directs and stars in this action-filled epic set in a post-apocalyptic American West. In the year 2013, a massive war has left most of the country in total disarray. Out of the chaos comes one man, determined to rebuild the American spirit, by delivering mail to provide much needed communication between the surviving pockets of communities. As his efforts begin to take hold, he finds himself in a fight for his life against a despotic general and an army of warriors who wish to continue their reign of terror. Co-starring Will Patton, Larenz Tate and Tom Petty.

I saw that this has a very low rating on rottomato, and having loved this film since I first saw it as a teen, I had to put a positive rating somewhere to help balance all the undeserved negativity it has been given....It really is a great movie full of substance and heart. The Postman reminds of the most basic reality that there will always be those who try to steal others' freedom to make their own lives easier or attain their goals, and so the movie shows us why we must rise up and protect that freedom which is so often taken for granted. By showing us this in the different format of a post-apocalyptic world; it is able to show the factors in play in a more raw and clear manner of which most movies fail to display.

A great relic full of fun , it make you wanna thank your post man , rain or shine. Changed his stars by beco.ing who he pretended to be ... A knights tale plot set post war usa , High to Tom petty as well

This movie is perfectly directed and filmed it's one of my favorite films because it's shows what we can achieve if we put our minds to it it's at a time where the world is falling apart and we need to band together kind of like right now or we need to band together and we're really not banding together so yeah big fan I liked it I grew up watching it I also liked Water World so I should tell you something
