Cannes-winning director, Hong Sang-soo's sophomore effort take his signature naturalistic look into fleeting romance, following a sensitive girl distressed by her recent break-up and a vacationing professor looking for the services of a prostitute, as they ride the same train and visit the same sights in the tranquil mountains of the Kangwon Province in South Korea.

Hong Sangsoo's movies... if you like one, you'll pretty much like them all. He always plays with the narrative, employing all sorts of devices like telling the same story twice, from two different perspectives. His minimalist approach and technique is what I've come to love about his films. I think this was his second film, a definite progression from his first, which was also worth seeing if you can find it.
