The all time worst of the Predator franchise. So glad I didn't waste more than 99 cents (Google Play digital rental) to see this pile of garbage. I see 20 Century Fox is into recycling certain actors; set pieces as well as locations for filming movies but this is pretty ridiculous. The secret alien facility where Olivia Munn was taken to might be familiar to X-MEN fans. When the fighting broke out; I half expected to see Wolverine claw his way into the chamber; battle the alien; give Boyd Holbrook the middle finger and grab hold of Munn like a swashbuckler just before jumping into the waterfall as he did in X-MEN Origins Wolverine. I mean Jesus Christ; if you're going to pluck people from various X-MEN movies; you might as well have just made it a crossover which would have given the final fight with the taller predator against Wolverine more interesting. At least he like Schwartzenegger in 1987 (which was referred to by my count twice) would have more of a fighting chance. Killing the predator came down to the kid doing most of the work by activating the force field which sliced off it's arm and Holbrook doing the rest with a shot to its legs.

The plot was stupid and jumped around randomly from one silly idea to the next. With the biggest one being the idea that the predator found their little autistic boy to be the only worthy opponent among the entire cast. The fight scenes were ridiculous as hell. If you're suuuuper high you might like it though, if there aren't any better options (there are).

I had low expextations because I don't think Shane Black is a good director. All of his movies are the same. Basically, buddy cop films with tons of jokes and that's what he brought to this movie. To be fair, it was a bit entertaining but in a eye roll sort of way. He took all of the horror elements out of it and added nonsensical characters doing nonsensical things.
