À propos de ce film

Walt Disney Animation Studios presents the musical THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, an animated comedy set in the great city of New Orleans. This is a modern twist on a classic tale featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG marks the return to hand-drawn animation from the revered team of John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar®-winning composer Randy Newman.

I found this film very similar to 'the Lego movie' and if you have seen my review for that film, that's not a good thing. The film is very random, too fast in some parts and too s...l...o...w in many other parts. The plot doesn't really make much sense, as the princess isn't a princess - she's a waitress in an ancient American café. The songs are also not spectacular, if anything, they're boring. And the weird voodoo guy was the last straw. I turned off the film... And was relieved once it was off. I would not recommend this film to anyone, except maybe some 3 year olds, who'd be only mildly amused by this film.

The only Disney Princess who works her way up. Such a role model for young girls and I can really relate as I'm so close my dream too. A strong princess who isn't focused on men but is focused on a career and being independent and finds love because of it. Will be making it onto the buy list

Absolutely brilliant movie. Disney finally went back to basics with a good old cheesy princess rags to riches story. New orleans was a perfect setting too. Very enjoyable viewing.
