A common man who resembles the King is forced to take the monarch's place in an attempt to foil a murderous revolt. The royal plan gets more complicated when he falls in love with the Queen. Stewart Granger ("Green Fire") takes on both roles as the commoner and the King in this swashbuckling adventure classic. Also starring Academy Award-winner Debra Kerr ("From Here to Eternity"), Oscar-nominees James Mason ("North by Northwest," "Lolita") and Louis Calhern ("The Asphalt Jungle").
