One way to judge a horror movie with good content is to gague the behaviors you adapt in response to it. With Psycho, people started locking the bathroom doors and avoided closing their eyes in the shower. With Child's Play, children started locking up their dolls. Some people feared sleeping after Nightmare on Elm Street. This movie was okay, and I'm not comparing it to these movies, but I wrote this second review to say that it made me watch where I step in the dark. So, it had its moment(s).

Definitely worth trying out - a lot of the one star reviews ripped it apart, but it wasn't half bad. Sure, it had some predictable moments but what new movie doesn't? I still found myself shocked at times. Interesting premise. The kid does a great job as his character. See for yourself!

The trailer/commercial looks so cool, it might suck some into buying this movie. The movie itself is very bad. Not only does director inexplicably give away the entire plot in the opening scene to the audiance (WHY??? without this scene, which you do glimpse in the trailer, the film would work so much better! Poor director choice.) Parents are of course idiots moreso than the usual horror movie fare (the mother in particular is basically told exactly what is wrong but is in denial or something).
