The Pyramid

A team of archaeologists unearths an ancient pyramid buried deep beneath the Egyptian desert. As they search the pyramid's depths, they become hopelessly lost in its dark and endless catacombs. Searching for a way out, they become desperate to seek daylight again. They come to realize they aren't just trapped, they are being hunted.

I tried to keep an open mind when watching this movie after reading the reviews. Wish I would have kept it closed! If I was feeling generous the most I could give this movie is 2 stars but after being assaulted by the worst acting I've ever encountered I couldn't do it. This movie was bad in every way a movie can be with the exception of some of the effects. Save yourself and your money!

This movie can't figure out what it wants to be. It sets up it's own self as a "footage" movie when documentary team films and follows some archaeologists into a pyramid pretty much of the movie. Only camera shots from their cameras recording shows what's happening, but then all of a sudden more than half way in uses music for the 1st time to enhance the some scenes. It also turns into just a horror movie which includes camera shots from down the corridor, or on ceilings capturing the characters movements.

Started out interesting, a little slow, but gets worse and worse. I fell asleep and turned it off. Special effects are goofy and the acting is sub par. Movies like this are the reason horror has a bad reputation.
