It may be too slowly-paced for some, but this movie explores the effects of isolation on -- possibly -- the last human on Earth. Think "I Am Legend" (or "Omega Man") minus the scary monsters. A man seeks answers, and other survivors, while struggling to maintain his sanity. After locating survivors, he then battles intense jealousy. The twist ending may leave some small room for interpretation. Has humanity disappeared from these survivors' world, or have the survivors disappeared from ours? A good movie for anyone who enjoys "end-of-the-world" stories, without the inclusion of zombies, mutants or monsters of any kind.
